Brian Drechsler Gets Air Conditioning License

D & D Air Conditioning, Inc is pleased to announce that Brian A. Drechsler received his CLASS A Air Conditioning Contractor license from the State of Florida on March 11, 2011.

Brian, the son of owner Donald Drechsler has been working with D & D Air Conditioning, Inc for seven years and leads the company as their Home Comfort System Consultant.

Brian has also been promoted from Vice-President to President of D & D Air Conditioning, Inc and is transitioning into taking over the daily operations of the company as D & D Air Conditioning, Inc celebrates its 25^th Anniversary in 2011.

When asked what these developments mean, Brian was quoted as saying: “I am very pleased that D & D has attained the reputation for customer service and fair treatment that have allowed the company to grow to where it is today and I look forward to taking the company forward for the next twenty-five years building on the successful foundation that my family and our customers have built.”

Get your Tax Credit ( up to $1500) before the credit runs out. The tax credit ends at the end of the year. Not only will you get huge savings from the goverment but you will also enjoy the nice benefits of lower electric bills and a more comfortable home.

To get a credit of up to $1,500 on your 2010 taxes, a split system air conditioner must have a Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating (SEER) of at least 16 a heat pumps needs a SEER of 15, and a package system must have a SEER of at least 14. The SEER can be found clearly marked on or in the appliances, or at the webpage if shopping on the Internet. Just be mindful that a higer SEER will save you money over the life of the system by lowering the operating cost.

The inverter—This element changes electrical current from ac to dc and is highly versatile when controlled by programmed logic.

The rotary compressor—Every compressor used in residential cooling has two main functions: to pump refrigerant through the system; and to boost pressure and temperature of the gaseous refrigerant, which allows the high-temperature gas to release the heat absorbed from the indoor air to the outside air.
In a rotary compressor, the refrigerant is compressed by the rotating action of a roller inside a cylinder. The roller rotates off-center around a shaft so that part of the roller is always in contact with the inside wall of the cylinder, while a spring-mounted blade consistently rubs against the roller. Both of these contact points create two sealed areas of continuously variable volume inside the cylinder

Electronic expansion valve—The EXV is used to adjust refrigerant flow to match the cooling load. Formerly used only on commercial equipment, the EXV is analogous to an electronic fuel-injection system on a car, whereas the standard TXV is similar to a carburetor.
